BT Office Furniture also supply a varied range of reception counters, from traditional modular reception desks to very modern office reception desks with integral lighting and glass counter shelves. All reception desks and counters that we supply conform to the latest Disabled Discrimination Act recommendations. All office reception desks have a minimum user height of 700mm from floor level and a minimum depth of 650mm for receptionist using a wheelchair. All reception counter heights range between 950mm and 1100mm to provide a suitable writing height for standing visitors, and an option low level height at a minimum of 700mm for visitors using a wheelchair.
Most of our reception counters can be furnished with the customers logo either applied to the front fascia of the reception desk in the form of a vinyl film or on an acrylic front panel raised on stilts from the front of the counter. Our most popular reception desks have integral glass shelves with LED lighting. Our reception counters can be manufactured from; wood effect laminate, coloured laminates or real wood veneers. Most reception counters are supplied with a brushed aluminium kick plate to protect the front facia of the reception desk.

Some of our boardroom tables and desks can also be cable managed. This is achieved by specifying a flip lid recessed docking station within the table top. This docking station can hold either standard UK sockets, data or telephone sockets. The cables from these sockets then run in a channel under the table top and down through the table legs.
