Quality Office Furniture by Royal Appointment

HRH The Princess Royal officially opened the new RYA Centre at Compass Point, Hamble in April, complete with interior furniture and fitments supplied to their furniture requirements by BT Office Furniture & Interiors. The opening saw the culmination of a full-years planning, with BT Office working alongside the association to provide and install £160,000's worth of quality office furniture.

RYA Centre Furniture Contract

The contract required that existing office furniture had to be matched with the new and that dynamics of the working area offered efficient use of space and provided the 100+ staff with a quality office environment. Office people spend more than 70% of their working lives at their desks, so it is essential to make that time as pleasant and productive as possible as BT's Contract Director, Derek Flood, explains, "Space is one of the most valuable assets a business has got and with careful and professional planning it is often possible for a company to increase it's staff capacity and efficiency without the need for a costly relocation". BT Office firmly believe the quality of the office environment is increasingly important in attracting and keeping staff, greatly influencing an individual's decision to join, or stay with an employer. The RYA centre boasts bespoke designed and constructed training and conference rooms with versatile open-plan areas equipped with high quality President CX desks and Tambour storage units.

Besides office furniture and interiors, BT Office also provided detailed 3D computer aided designs of the reception area to help with the RYA visualise the finished project, before commissioning bespoke manufacture and fitting the finished furniture in a complete turn-key package.
